Vehicle Safety
One of the biggest sources of a catastrophic loss in the Social Service industry is the exposure to motor vehicle crashes in owned or non-owned autos.  Each time an employee is behind the wheel, there is a chance for loss from this exposure.  Every state motor vehicle department will furnish driving record information concerning such things as license suspensions or revocations, traffic law violations, and crashes.  Best practice is to obtain Motor Vehicle Records on all employees who drive or may drive on company business at least annually.
